Jamaican-Canadian vocalist Don Richie  has carved out a unique space in music. His dancehall stylation fused with his R&B crooning has given him a sound that transcends borders.

 

Don Richie (Kareem Richards) was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. His first musical experiences as a child were listening to his parents Cd's. Motown souls music, reggae, rocksteady and dancehall were played daily in his house due to his parents being such huge fans of music. Little did he know that the foundation was being set for his musical palette. Don Richie began to fall in love with music and entertainment, even going as far as performing a Michael Jackson routine at his younger brothers christening. Due to his progression in athletics, he started to shift his life towards sports in his adolescence nevertheless music found him again in his early adulthood.

From the genesis of his musical career, it was evident that Don Richie's musical abilities were potent. Effortlessly weaving words, melodies, and harmonies, Don Richie creates soothing music that is infectious to the ear. His live stage presence is bolstered with smooth dancehall movements that makes the crowd know he is at home.
